ll famoso Harlem Gospel Choir è sinonimo di potente stile vocale ed energia contagiosa. Per oltre quattro decenni, sono stati il primo coro gospel americano a girare il mondo entusiasmando il pubblico con il potere ispiratore della musica gospel nera.

Il Coro è stato fondato nel 1986 da Allen Bailey, dopo aver partecipato a una celebrazione in onore del Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. al Cotton Club di Harlem.
Gli Harlem Gospel Choir si sono esibiti accanto a superstar come Bono, Diana Ross, The Gorillaz, Andre Rieu Sir Keith Richards, The Chieftains, Trace Adkins, Sam Smith, Damon Albarn e Pharrell Williams. Si sono esibiti per il presidente Obama, il presidente Carter e il presidente Nelson Mandela e per i due papi Giovanni Paolo II e Benedetto XVI.

Nel 2018 il coro si è esibito con Sam Smith ai Grammy’s, e negli ultimi due anni si sono esibiti durante la Macys Thanks Giving Day Parade, il Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, e alla NBC Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony al Rockefeller Center con Jordan Smith, Pentatonix e Ne-Yo.
