Si va a uno spettacolo di GRUPO CORPO soprattutto per vedere bella danza con ballerini carichi di un’energia inesauribile e pieni di fascino e sex appeal.
I loro spettacoli suscitano entusiasmi da stadio tra il foltissimo pubblico che riempie all’inverosimile le sale. In quarant’anni di vita, questa compagnia fondata nello Stato di Minas Gerais, lontano dal Brasile più folkloristico e commerciale, ha dato vita a spettacoli memorabili. Rodrigo Pederneiras, che riesce sempre a far esprimere al massimo i suoi 21 danzatori, è profondamente legato alla cultura del suo paese che è al tempo stesso colta e popolare.
Per le sue creazioni vengono commissionate musiche a Caetano Veloso, Zè Miguel Wisnik, Joao Bosco, Gilberto Gil, Uatki, Lenine tra gli altri, che ci calano completamente nella contemporaneità brasiliana.
La tecnica interpretativa è strabiliante, le prodezze virtuosistiche di una compagine tutta protesa sul contemporaneo jazz lasciano senza fiato.
