Biography

Alessandro De Rosa studied composition with Boris Porena on the recommendation of Ennio Morricone, and graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the Netherlands. As a composer, he has collaborated with Jon Anderson (Yes), Fantine Thó, and in the field of applied music. His concert works have been performed by major institutions and ensembles including Gaudeamus, the Residentie Orkest, and the Venice Biennale.

Together with Ennio Morricone, he co-authored the composer’s official autobiography Inseguendo quel suono. La mia musica, la mia vita. Conversazioni con Alessandro De Rosa (Mondadori Libri, 2016–2024), translated into several of the world’s most widely spoken languages. He also created the podcast Io e Ennio Morricone (Amazon Audible, 2020) and, at the joint request of the Academy Award-winning director and Morricone himself, is one of the narrating voices in the documentary film Ennio by Giuseppe Tornatore. Currently, he serves as manager of Irene Grandi, continues his musical activity as a freelance artist, and works as an author and speaker for cultural channels of RSI and RAI.

Fausto Beccalossi is internationally recognized as one of the leading specialists of the chromatic accordion. After classical studies at the Brescia Conservatory, he turned to jazz improvisation. Noticed by Enrico Rava at Siena Jazz, he launched his professional career in 1997, collaborating with numerous musicians and international stars including Al Di Meola, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Kenny Wheeler, Paolo Fresu, Mike Stern, and Till Brönner. He performs solo with his project Accordeon Colours, blending the languages of jazz, tango, and Italian music. In addition to My Time, an album of original compositions and a tribute to Gorni Kramer, he has recorded dozens of albums and performed in countries around the world.

Claudio Farinone, guitarist and composer, began a diverse concert career following his diploma, numerous masterclasses, and awards at international competitions. He performs as a soloist, with chamber ensembles, and alongside leading figures in jazz and world music both in Italy and abroad. He has collaborated on theatre and music projects with artists including David Riondino, Pamela Villoresi, and Clara Galante. He has released several CDs with personal projects, including Claudio Farinone Plays Ralph Towner, dedicated to the renowned American guitarist and composer with whom he performed in concert in 2017. His musical language lies between interpretation, composition, arrangement, and improvisational exploration. He is also host of music programs on Rete Due, the cultural channel of Swiss Italian Radio.
