BALLET JUNIOR DE GENÈVE

Biography

The Ballet Junior de Genève is a contemporary dance training program designed to develop the artistic identity of young dancers aspiring to a professional career.
The program lasts two years, with an optional third year.

Alongside technical training, direct contact with working artists is central to the program, allowing each student to gain practical experience.
Every student dancer in this section of the EDG participates in performances programmed in Switzerland and abroad.
The work, carried out on both technical and interpretive levels, enables each young dancer to optimally meet the demands of auditions for entry into the professional world.

For nearly 40 years, this training offered by the Geneva Dance School has been training dancers capable of joining the best dance companies in the world.

Admission to this section takes place during the annual audition, which is held every spring.
