Biography

Elvis Costello is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee whose boundless creativity has shaped popular music for nearly five decades.
Emerging from the British new wave scene of the late 1970s with now-classic albums such as My Aim Is True, This Year’s Model and Armed Forces, Costello has gone on to explore an extraordinary range of musical territories, moving effortlessly between rock, country, jazz, classical music, and film and television scoring.
Among his most notable collaborations are projects with Burt Bacharach (Painted From Memory), Allen Toussaint (The River in Reverse), The Brodsky Quartet (The Juliet Letters), and The Roots (Wise Up Ghost).
Whether performing solo, in duo settings, or with The Imposters, Costello’s live shows combine razor-sharp storytelling with remarkable energy and musical versatility.
