Biography

A native of Treviso, born in 1961, with over 400 exhibitions curated since 1984 and about ten thousand works on loan from foundations, museums and private collections from all over the world, he is unanimously recognized as Italy's leading expert on Impressionism. His installations are true tales sewn for the public: since 2005 he has successfully brought to the stage tales/shows created to introduce, in a way strongly linked to emotion, his major exhibitions, always at the top of the charts among the most visited exhibitions in Italy and in the world, and which have attracted more than eleven million visitors in the last twenty years. Goldin has always stood out for his way of telling about art made of poetry, emotion and knowledge, with a taste for a word that is always very engaging and never banal, and yet always extremely understandable.
