Biography

Paolo Karim Gozzo is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of Sicilian and Moroccan heritage.
In 2022, after nearly three years of work, he released the album Tango Mediterraneo, a project in which the artist rediscovered and embraced his roots through a personal multilingual songwriting approach and a pop production inspired by Mediterranean sounds — from Southern Italy to the Maghreb, Andalusian traditions, Arab and Berber influences.
The release of the album was preceded by the single Leila and by a special sold-out concert in Paris.
Among the most significant milestones of his earlier career are his participation in X Factor Italy in 2009, where he reached the final showdown with Marco Mengoni, followed by songwriting collaborations with Bungaro, one of Italy’s most respected and refined songwriters. In 2018, under the name Ludwig Mirak, he released the album È quasi l’alba, which led him to perform on major stages and festivals alongside artists such as Roberto Vecchioni, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, and Ghemon.
