As we look ahead to the return of the autumn tour, Elio brings La rivalutazione della tristezza to two prestigious festival events: on September 1 in Castel San Pietro Terme, as part of Bologna Estate, in collaboration with Emilia Romagna Festival, and on September 2 at the Festival delle Nazioni.
Accompanied by his band, Elio embarks on a musical and narrative journey to rediscover sadness, a feeling that has shaped the history of art and human expression, from Catullus to Virginia Woolf, from Munch to Donald Duck.
A show that restores to this feeling all its nobility and necessity, while, of course, not forgetting to include a few well-timed upbeat songs.
