Anastasia is a musical inspired by a true story that premiered on Broadway in 2017. The production is based on the beloved 1997 animated film of the same name. Among its most celebrated songs are Journey to the Past and Once Upon a December.

THE STORY
Set in Russia in 1927, the story follows Anya, an orphan with no memory of her past. She is persuaded by two conmen to impersonate the missing Grand Duchess Anastasia in order to claim a reward offered by the Dowager Empress Maria, who is living in Paris. What follows is an exciting journey filled with unexpected twists, adventure, and romance as Anya searches for the truth about her identity.
