For the first time, Mirco Passione Mariani.
“That was my grandfather Guido’s middle name, and I’m the only one who inherited it. I’m very proud of it because it represents me, and I would like it to accompany my future.”
Canzoni in Solo follows the acclaimed triple CD Musica per sconosciuti and is another monumental project: 30 tracks selected from a repertoire of more than 60 songs.
These are solitary musical climbs — an intergalactic journey where improvisation and restoration coexist, where meaning is found within nonsense. A process of deconstruction: losing oneself inside existing melodies in order to rediscover oneself in songs born instantly in the moment.
The concert features selections from the new album alongside highlights from Mariani’s extensive artistic journey, including works connected to Extraliscio, Il Parcheggiatore di Sommergibili, Saluti da Saturno, Shaloma Locomotiva Orchestra, Fwora Jorgensen, Daunbailò, and Mazapegul.
