Zattere nel Mare is a recording and cultural project that brings together songwriting, jazz, storytelling and civic engagement, born from the encounter between art, the sea and education.
At the symbolic heart of the project is a piano recovered from the sea, restored and brought back to life as a tangible act of cultural and environmental preservation.
From this powerful image emerges a musical narrative that speaks of ecology, collective responsibility, memory and the future—not through rhetoric, but through poetic strength and authenticity.
The single Zattere nel Mare is accompanied by a music video produced in collaboration with the Italian Coast Guard, reinforcing the project’s message of protecting the sea and the environment as a shared common good.
Musically, the work lies at the intersection of singer-songwriter tradition, Mediterranean jazz and narrative composition, combining accessibility with depth and speaking to a wide range of audiences.
The project is currently receiving airplay on Radio Taormina TV, a leading broadcaster in Sicily and across Italy, and is embarking on a broader radio and television promotion campaign aimed at bringing Zattere nel Mare to a national audience.
More than an album, Zattere nel Mare is an artistic project with a clear message:
saving what seems lost—the sea, culture, and people—is still possible, but no one can be saved alone.
