Biography

Dumbo Gets Mad is a psychedelic pop project.
Their debut album received widespread critical acclaim online: Plumy Tale, the first single released, was included in Joe Tangari’s Top 50 on Pitchfork in 2011, while Marmalade Kids was selected as NPR’s Song of the Day.
The album Things Are Random And Time Is Speeding Up, released in February 2021, stands as an iconic psychedelic jam, rich in influences and defined by a unique fusion of multiple genres.
In 2023, the project performed twice in the United States: from March to April (from Los Angeles to New York, including two shows at SXSW in Austin) and again from November to December (at Austin’s Levitation Festival and Mexico’s Hipnosis Festival, among many other dates).
In April 2025, Dumbo Gets Mad toured Asia, performing in Taiwan and Japan ahead of the release of their new album FIVE EGGS, scheduled for September 2025. In 2026, they will return to Europe.
