Dumbo Gets Mad è un progetto pop psichedelico. Il primo album ha ottenuto molte recensioni ottime sul web: “Plumy Tale”, il primo singolo pubblicato, è stato nominato da Joe Tangari nella top 50 di Pitchfork del 2011, e “Marmalade Kids“ è stata scelta come canzone del giorno da NPR .
L’album Things Are Random And Time Is Speeding up, pubblicato nel febbraio 2021, è un’iconica jam psichedelica, con molte influenze e una miscela unica di più generi.
Ascolta qui Five Eggs, il nuovo album uscito il 16 settembre 2025. Quinto progetto discografico dell’artista, primo per Carosello Records, è stato presentato in anteprima live domenica 14 settembre al POPLAR FESTIVAL di Trento e racchiude un nuovo viaggio sonoro nell’elegante psichedelia dumbiana attraverso 10 canzoni, a cui si aggiunge un brano inedito presente esclusivamente sul vinile.
Le sue produzioni mescolano sonorità retrò, elementi elettronici, ritmi funky e arrangiamenti stratificati in un equilibrio tra gioco e ricerca sonora, conquistando una fanbase trasversale tra indie, elettronica e psichedelia.
