GIUNI RUSSO‘s artistic career has always been characterized by her extraordinary voice and versatility, capable of surprising and putting together a wide audience. Unique icon of her kind, she has explored a wide range of musical genres, from light music to jazz, pop to opera, to the influences of ethnic music, showing an insatiable curiosity and without prejudice.

The concert “VOCI PARALLELE” dedicated to her 20 years after her untimely death, celebrates her immense contribution to Italian music with the participation of great artists, who will pay tribute to her art on 14 September at 9.00 p.m. at the Auditorium della Nuvola in Rome, for the EUR Culture Festival.

Iconic songs like “Un’estate al mare”, “Alghero”, “La Sua Figura”, “Mediterranea” and “Morirò d’amore” that are part of our musical heritage sung by generations of fans and have left an indelible mark on the Italian music scene, on this extraordinary evening will be revived once again to be shared and remembered thanks to: ALICE with Carlo Guaitoli (guest pianist), ANTONELLA RUGGIERO, ARISA, DULCE PONTES, IRENE GRANDI, LAURA CATRANI, MARIO INCUDINE with ANTONIO VASTA (guest multi-instrumentalist), TENORES DI NEONELI, PAOLO FRESU, RITA PAVONE, RON, ROBERTO CACCIAPAGLIA, SIMONE CRISTICCHI and AMARA, with an exclusive video contribution by TIZIANO FERRO.

Accompanying them, an extraordinary ensemble of musicians: the string quartet Roma Tre Orchestra String Quartet and the rhythm section composed by Antonello D’Urso on guitars, Andrea Torresani on bass, Giordano Colombo on drums, Fabio Gangi on keyboards, Stefano Medioli on piano and musical direction.
