Inti-Illimani and Giulio Wilson together again for AGUA WORLD TOUR 2023: after the success of the Vale la pena tour which saw them as protagonists in Italian theaters last year, the Chilean group and the Tuscan singer-songwriter announce a world tour, which will stage in Italy from 12 to 22 May, for the live presentation of their first album together AGUA, recorded between Florence and Santiago de Chile, to be released on 28 April.
It will be an unprecedented musical proposal, in which the sounds of Chilean music will meet the sounds and words of Giulio Wilson, a brilliant singer-songwriter with a refined and out-of-date style. Jorge Coulón, founding member of Inti-Illimani, recounts the recording project and the tour with words of pure emotion: “For us it is always wonderful to return to Italy. Playing with Giulio, a talented songwriter and dear friend, is a way to get closer to our history and to continue to cultivate the passion that binds us to Italy”.
AGUA WORLD TOUR – produced by IMARTS – will be in Italy in May 2023, in the main Italian cities: Inti-Illimani & Giulio Wilson will be on Friday 12 May at the Luzzati Gardens in Genoa; Saturday 13 May at the Auditorium Parco della Musica (Sala Sinopoli) in Rome; Sunday 14 May at the Teatro La Fenice in Senigallia; Wednesday 17 May at the Teatro Colosseo in Turin; Thursday 18 May at the Teatro Duse in Bologna; Friday 19 May at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan; Saturday 20 May at the Gran Padano Theater in Mantua; on Sunday 21 May at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua and on Monday 22 May at the Tuscany Hall in Florence.
